Empowering Communities Everywhere
We believe everyone has the power. And we’re building the technology to make this happen.
At Kourtly, we focus on painting a promising version of the future, in which both individuals and communities benefit from advances in digital technology. To consumers, we offer a marketplace that delivers a highly personalized experience. To small retailers, we deliver the opportunity to transform their brick-and-mortar business into a digital force that is relevant to its customers. When both consumers and small retailers engage on the Kourtly platform, magic happens. We re-channel value realization locally. The Kourtly platform creates conditions for omni-channel experience that benefits both consumer and small seller. As opposed to pure e-commerce, our platform enables magic to happen IRL (In Real Life). The result?
When consumers and local businesses engage with each other again, socio-economic benefits are created. And this uplifts the local community. Our version of e-Commerce is driven by the engine of people power. We believe there is leverage in numbers.

Chief Executive Officer
Chief Operating Officer
Mehdy has consistently built upon his knowledge and talents throughout his career. From tennis to sports apparel and now technology, Mehdy is able to narrow in on an objective and obsessively execute. He has the propensity to make the seemingly impossible possible.
As a standout tennis player in Morocco he traveled to the United States where he was recruited by IMG founder Mark McCormack to attend the College of William & Mary. While at William & Mary he earned a B.A. in International Business and in French. After William & Mary, Mehdy moved to New York City where he earned his M.B.A. at St. John’s University and was the Assistant Coach for Men’s Tennis. While at St. John’s, Mehdy founded Loriet, a sports apparel company focusing on tennis. Over the next decade Loriet branched out into other sports and developed a team of talented athletes who represented the ideals of the company.
While building Loriet, Mehdy became engrossed in both the tennis and golf industries and started to notice a disturbing trend. Small brands, independent business owners and specialty shops were getting squeezed out and undercut. The network and family he had known when he started his business was starting to reluctantly disappear, creating a void in the community and narrowing future opportunities for young players. As a result, Mehdy envisioned a way to resuscitate the community by organically unifying specialty shops, players and brands through technology, and Kourtly was born.
Mehdy continues to pass his love for tennis and technology on to his two daughters who he teaches tennis and coding to. He also advises and consults for several sports related non-profit organizations and industry groups in order to build the sport of tennis in the US and abroad.
