Loriet Pro Player Farris Gosea and Nathaniel Lammons win Cordoba

 

Farris Gosea and doubles partner Nathaniel Lammons win Cordoba.

The 3rd seeds, won their first match 6-2 6-0 against a crowd favorite Mexican team. In the quarter final, Gosea and Lammons played Americans Evan Song and Shane Vinsant. In the 1st set neither team give an inch taking the set into a tiebreak. The breaker was very close, but Gosea and Lammons edged ahead. The second set saw the seeds break once to take their place in the semi final 7-6(6), 6-4.

The semi final was against American and Loriet Pro Team player Adam El Mihdawy and Canadian Samuel Monette.  The American/Canadian pairing lost to Gosea and Lammons who booked their final spot 6-3, 6-1.

In the final Gosea and Lammons played American Hunter Callahan and Portuguese Bernado Saraiva. This was to be the most difficult match of their run. After breaking in the first set, their opponents refused to go quietly. The 2nd set needed to be decided via a tiebreak. Ultimately, Gosea and Lammons were able to claim the title winning 6-4, 6-7(6), 10-8.

The success of team Gosea and Lammons began a week earlier at the Villahermosa Open where the British/American team lost in a close Final to King (USA) and Scholtz (RSA).
